How to Delete Your Account and What Happens to Your Data

We’re sorry to see you go, but we believe you should always be in control of your data.

How to delete your account

1. Go to Settings → Account.

2. Scroll to the bottom and look for Delete account.

3. Click the button and follow the confirmation steps:

   • You may need to re-enter your password.

   • You’ll usually see a warning about what will be deleted.

What happens when you delete your account

Typically:

• Your account and login credentials are permanently removed.

• Your classes, assignments, and notes are deleted or anonymized.

• You will no longer have access to your data.

Some analytics or system logs may be retained for security or legal reasons, but they will no longer be tied to your identity.

Download your data first

If you might want a record of your assignments or schedule:

• Use the Export feature (see our Export Data article) before deleting your account.

Once deletion is complete, recovery may not be possible.

If you deleted your account by mistake, contact support immediately with:

• The email you used

• Approximate time of deletion
