Troubleshooting: Assignd Isn’t Loading or Is Really Slow

If the web app isn’t loading properly or feels slow, try the steps below.

1. Check your internet connection

  • Make sure you’re connected to Wi-Fi or cellular data.

  • Try loading another website to confirm the connection.

2. Refresh and try again

  • Press Refresh in your browser.

  • If the page partially loads, wait a few seconds to see if it finishes.

3. Try a different browser

Assignd usually works best in:

  • Chrome

  • Edge

  • Safari

  • Firefox (recent versions)

If you’re using an outdated browser or school-managed device, try another browser if possible.

4. Clear cache/cookies for Assignd

Sometimes old cached files cause issues:

  • Open your browser settings.

  • Find Privacy or Site settings.

  • Clear cache/cookies for assigndapp.com / web.assigndapp.com.

  • Log in again.

5. Disable aggressive browser extensions

Ad blockers, privacy tools, or script blockers can interfere with modern web apps.

  • Temporarily disable them.

  • Refresh Assignd.

  • If it works, add web.assigndapp.com as an allowed site.

6. Check our status (if you have a status page)

If we have a public status page, you’ll see if there’s a current outage.

7. Contact support

If none of this helps, send support:

  • Your browser and version

  • Device type (Windows, Mac, Chromebook, etc.)

  • Approx. time of issue
